Isle of Kings
Main Information
The Isle of Kings, located southwest of Carlin and northwest of Greenshore, is home to the Order of the White Raven and the resting place of the former monarchs of the kingdom of Thais. Access to the island is restricted to a select few. The monks do not tolerate intruders attempting to loot royal treasures. Visitors can speak with Prior Costello and explore a library filled with books from around the world.
Caution: Under no circumstances should visitors enter the second floor! Six monks reside there, and entry is punishable by fines as follows:
- Levels 1–20: 500 gp
- Levels 21–40: 1,000 gp
- Levels 41–60: 5,000 gp
- Levels 61+: 10,000 gp
Instead, adventurers may descend into the catacombs (warning: the deeper you go, the more dangerous it becomes!) where a path leads to the The Banshee Quest. To access the catacombs, you must at least begin the Blessed Ankh Quest.
To reach the Isle of Kings, you must first befriend Dalbrect, a fisherman on the mainland, by completing the Family Brooch Quest. Afterward, each trip to the island costs 20 gp. Alternatively, a long and perilous route through the Ghostlands is possible. Returning from the Isle of Kings is free via Captain Jack's boat.
