History of Fibula

Fibula is an island located southwest of the mainland. It is home to a village of the same name, whose inhabitants make their living from fishing, farming, and hunting. However, the peaceful atmosphere of the island is disturbed by the dangerous underground city. The island's residents live in constant fear that they may meet the same fate as the inhabitants of Calcanea Island to the north: one day, a huge spider emerged from the underground and killed them all. Additionally, a large sea monster frequently appears in the waters between the mainland, Fibula, and Calcanea, making no sailor dare venture into this area. The only way to Fibula is through an underground tunnel.

Information

Fibula is a small village located on an island near Thais. You won't find a king or any governing figure here—Fibula is only home to judges.

This village is very popular among Tibians because its residents buy fairly common items that no one else in all of Tibia purchases. Specifically, these are bows and crossbows, which they buy for 130 and 160 gp, respectively. In the past, it was also the only place to sell axes.

The place is also appreciated for its extensive underground (accessible via the village well), where you can find many monsters suitable for beginners (e.g., Orcs, and Rotworms, as well as for intermediate fighters (Beholders, Demon Skeletons). Additionally, deep underground awaits a valuable treasure.

However, not everything is perfect—someone once built a massive wall with a door. To get through it, you need a key, which can be purchased for the exorbitant price of 2000 gp from the judge Dermot. Or maybe you can find someone on the island willing to sell it cheaper?

Just like the name Tibia (which means "shinbone" in English), Fibula refers to another human leg bone—the fibula.
