Venore

Main Information

Venore, located on the swamps of the eastern coast of the continent, is a city ruled by money and the influence of merchant families. By monopolizing trade with dwarves and elves, as well as importing wood from Edron and honey from Darashia, merchants have prospered thanks to their trading fleet. The local shipyard and spices from the surrounding swamps make Venore crucial for the kingdom, granting merchants numerous royal privileges, including a monopoly on gambling.

Venore is an excellent place for novice knights, offering various training locations, from bugs to slimes. The wealthy live like kings, while the poor barely attract notice. The city draws fortune seekers with its trade opportunities, luxurious market houses, and the thrill of Hard Rock Tavern.

The outskirts of Venore are dangerous—travelers often fall victim to headhunters from Amazon tribes or are robbed and killed. Some speak of rebel elves from the Shadowthorn fortress. Despite this, Venore remains a hub for adventurers eager to face the swamp monsters and Plains of Havoc, spending fortunes in its shops.
